For the over 250 bowlers that call Capalaba Sports Club home, the 17th June was a proud day which marked the Grand Opening of the new greens. Attended by local dignitaries, members and guests enjoyed an exhibition match by world class bowlers Brett Wilkie, Kelvin Kerkow and Steve Glasson which was live streamed around the world. The community spirit of Capalaba Sports Club also saw over $5,000 raised at the opening for the Windsor and Jindalee Bowls Clubs whose clubs were devastated by floods earlier this year.
