Capalaba Sports Club has 3 lawn bowls greens, 2 of which are synthetic and undercover while the third is grass.

Social Bowls is a great way to relax and enjoy the company of friends or family. Social bowls requires no brilliant sporting prowess or superior motor skills and encompasses all levels of ability. All that is needed is a desire to have a go and have fun. So kick off your shoes and enjoy a fun day with family, friends or colleagues. Give it a go, it’s easy to play, and fun to learn.

Children aged 5 years and over are welcome to bowl as we have some lighter bowls to accommodate them.

A selection of hot and cold platters are available for purchase before or after your bowls.

Come and enjoy our “OPEN Mufti Pairs Day” ‐ Visitors welcome. Cost is only $16pp which includes prize money, raffles, afternoon tea, plus 2 games of bowls (12 ends).

Game starts at 12.00pm, registration must be completed by 11.00am.

While this is a ladies day men are still welcome. The ladies run various games. Game starts at 9.00am in summer and 9.30am in winter. Registration is required 1 hour prior to game time.

Social bowls is a club selected team event and dependent on numbers is made up of fours, triples or pairs.
